distressed indigo kimono with white shawl collar
One of a kind loose, handwoven, cotton kimono jacket with contrasting shawl collar. Beautiful wabi sabi details throughout including raw hem and and raw details on big patch pockets. Side vents start just above the pockets make it the perfect layering piece.
These beautiful textiles were traditionally made by hand in Mali. They were woven in long small strips which were hand sewn together to create a thick, sarong like, cloth. All that before being dyed in indigo. The whole process takes weeks. The fabric is just enough for 1 piece of clothing, this one.
